Jiffy, Cat Detective

03 December 2019

One lost shoe, one smug cat and the search we have all been on: How can one part of a pair go missing? How can it go so far? The family searches high and low throughout the house and eventually into the garden for the missing shoe while Jiffy the cat watches on.

Presented in a humorous rhyming text this story is easy to read with a clear font for early readers. The story may inspire speculation and intrigue from the listener as they predict where the shoe is and who has been involved in the disappearance. The simple line and block colour pictures manage to capture the chaos of the search creating both movement of the characters and the still watchfulness of the cat.
