Letters to Young People

09 February 2021

In these poems, the author seems to be writing about conversations he has had, or hasn’t had, with his young patients. He uses easily accessible imagery to express his ideas. The messages are positive and most of the poems finish with a promise of life, better things to come or an acceptance of things as they are. It is a book to dip in and out of. Some of the poems are very short while others are quite lengthy – they all leave you with something to think about.

Well worth reading for any young person who wants the challenge of looking at things in a different light.
