Mā Wai e Hautū?
It takes little convincing for this reviewer to highly recommend a Leo Timmers book; to have his book! To have Timmers’ Who’s Driving translated into te reo Māori is marvellous for further promoting the use of the language.
If you are not familiar with the book, Timmers shows a line of animals on the left-hand pages, approaching a vehicle on the right-hand page. Children guess which of the animals might be going to drive the different vehicles. The illustrations are imaginative and the colours bright, providing a great read-aloud/sharing book.
This sturdy board book will be a wonderful addition to any little one’s library.
