How highly are you recommending this book? Recommended
I had never read a Miniwings book before and after reading this, I can see why they are popular choice for some young children especially girls.
There is a sense of mischief and fun in this story. Miniwings are little creatures that may look just like ordinary plastic toys but when adults are not looking they come to life and cause trouble that leads to hilarious adventures for their owners. Although the MIniwings are mischievous they are quite cute and lovable. This story is easy to read and the story develops quickly from chapter to chapter with many parts that make you want to laugh or at least chuckle.
The illustrations tell the story as well with lots of details and cute captions and little drawings throughout the book, like in the margins and amongst the text. I like that the illustrator has used some coloured illustrations and some in black and white as well to add an element of interest.
I would recommend this book for readers who are exploring chapter books and who are learning to sustain reading a story over time.
