North and South: A Tale of Two Hemispheres

01 June 2021

This book is jam packed with information on the differences between the two hemispheres.

As it moves through the months it describes animals specific to each of the hemispheres and the changes to their environment, both natural and those which threaten the animals.

It discusses the four seasons as well as the dry and wet seasons and the layout of the book makes it very easy to understand, and compare and contrast the two environments. There is a key to help the reader understand the conservation status for each species shared and the impact that humans have on either them or the environment.

The back of the book has a comprehensive glossary and a section for further information which provides the reader with websites to visit and ways that they can help. It is the perfect way to support or begin a unit of work on conservation or the way in which the environment impacts the different species.
