Ocean’s Kiss

03 December 2019

A Telesa World novel that follows on brilliantly from the Telesa Trilogy this book has Daniel at its heart as he comes into his own.

Once again there is the depth and beauty of language that reflects a Polynesian view of the world where mythology and everyday life merge together. I encouraged my Yr 12 Samoan girls to read this and share their thoughts on it. The romance and the drama of the action appealed to them and already they have recommended it to their friends.

Once again Wendt Young has found the mark with her writing. This is a beautifully written book which has a complex storyline that entwines and expands on her precious books. It is easy to see that readers who read one of her books would be keen to read all of them. The elements of fantasy and love in a modern context, with it a nod to the history of the Pacific, is a winning combination.
