That’s what dragons do

21 October 2021

I was immediately drawn to the bold cover this book. Movement and energy is shared through strong colourful lively illustrations as Raymond McGrath takes us on a journey through the imagination of two little girls, as they get ready for bed. As sisters will do they compete getting louder and more animated as they extol the attributes of things from dragons to fire fighters, cupcake fairies to digger drivers and then alien robots. Finally Daddy comes to tuck them into bed.

Raymond uses alliteration and dynamic bold text with pictures that flow and exhilarate.

This book would be a delight to share with preschool children.
