The Clockill and the Thief
The Clockill and the Thief is a more than worthy sequel to the award-winning Steampunk/Action adventure by Gareth Ward, The Traitor and the Thief.
We meet up again with Sin, still battling the effects of his poisoned blue blood. Together with his friends Zonda Chubb and Velvet Von Darque, and despite his possibly imminent demise, Sin embarks on further training in espionage as a student of COG – the Covert Operations Group.
When it is discovered that the traitor who poisoned Sin, Eldritch Moons, has somehow escaped COG custody and is on the run, Sin and his friends are given the task to locate and recapture him.
As the story unfolds the author’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in the description of a whole new world of steampunk machines and gadgetry. Airships and machines that fly, float and are equally at home beneath the water.
Among other thrilling adventures, they endure hostile air incursions by sky pirates, thrilling adventures and very close-calls.
An exciting page turner.
