Volcanoes and Earthquakes

21 October 2019

Informative, succinct, easy to understand and interesting. ‘Volcanoes and Earthquakes’ provides a clear picture of New Zealand’s landforms and geographical history. It is divided into small, manageable chapters and the ‘Fact File’, which completes each section, provides further information that enhances the chapter reading.

Gordon and Sarah Ell have written a well-researched book and have ensured that photographs, diagrams and artwork support the text. The ‘Further Reading’ and ‘Useful Websites’ section at the end of the book will lead readers to find out more, however, this book is a valuable stand-alone publication and will no doubt be well used by both students and teachers at the primary and secondary level.
