Kate Jordan’s new book combines a love of knitting and heritage buildings, with knitting patterns inspired by the Wellington Railway Station. The patterns are all for warm accessories and include hats, mittens and scarves. Each pattern portrays some aspect of the railway station, from small tile motifs through to large arches, using colourwork or structural stitches. A range of knitting levels is catered for, from beginner to more adventurous knits. A short history provides a background of the railway station.
