Tina Shaw is the author of more than 20 publications for children, young adults and grown-ups. Her writing has taken her to Auckland, Christchurch, Berlin and Hamilton – where she was Writer-In-Residence at the University of Waikato. Her novel Ursa is a finalist in the 2020 New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults and has received a 2020 Storylines Notable Book Award. Tina grew up on a farm at Matangi, went to school at Sacred Heart Girls’ College and now lives outside Taupō with her partner and two beautiful though silly English Pointers.
Join author Tina Shaw for this workshop on the craft of writing small. How can you tell a story in only 250-500 words?
