Join author Jane Tolerton for a talk on her latest book Make Her Praises Heard Afar about the women (doctors, nurses and volunteers) who cared for soldiers in 1915 in Egypt and Malta, and those who worked with the New Zealand War Contingent Association in Britain.

Jane is an award-winning and best-selling author of books on the war including Ettie Rout, An Awfully Big Adventure, and Make Her Praises Heard Afar. She grew up in the Hutt Valley, attending Hutt Intermediate, Hutt Valley High School and Naenae College, and was co-director of the WW1 Oral History Archive with Nicholas Boyack.
