**Please note: We have changed the time of this event. It will now run from 6.30pm to 7.30pm**
Find it hard to put down your phone?
Worried about how much time your kids spend on screens?
Books gathering dust on the shelf?
We would love you to join us for the launch of our 2019 reading research.
By 2018 New Zealand had become one of the most internet-addicted nations in the world and consumer research showed that we own an average of 6.5 digital devices each, with 67% of them being connected to the internet.
How is this changing the way we read? It’s not all bad news!
Read NZ Te Pou Muramura (formerly the Book Council) will join forces with Internet NZ to launch its 2019 reading research at this year’s NetHui.
Reading in the Digital Age will be launched with a diverse panel discussion about what it means to be a reader in 2019.
One of the most dynamic national events for discussing the internet, Internet NZ's NetHui is an annual gathering for diverse groups of people to discuss the challenges, opportunities and technologies of the internet.
