We're planning a cross-industry reading campaign that celebrates Aotearoa NZ children’s books and increases the amount that kids read. The actual event will run for one week – potentially within the last week of July or first two weeks of August--within the NZCYA Book Awards shortlist period, when the interest in the genre is high.

We will work across the sector and beyond to engage young readers with Kiwi-authored stories.
