A Screw Loose is the fun-filled sequel to Tom E. Moffat's book Barking Mad.

Finn’s dad wants the family to spend more quality time together without technology being involved. One thing the family can agree on to remedy this is to get a new puppy of their own.

The adventure begins when the family set out to look at puppies at a pet shop and they crash into the next door neighbours house…

Their inventor Grandad ends up inventing a robotic dog called K10 which leads to even more exciting, action packed adventure.

This has lots of funny, laugh-out-loud moments with great sibling banter. It has positive themes of teamwork and family bonding as they solve problems together.

This is a really original and inventive story that would work well as a read-aloud.
