All the Feelings

'All the Feelings' is a great story to read to any child who is learning about feelings and emotions. Sometimes we struggle to manage our feelings and they get out of control. This story highlights some of the feelings that we all experience, and some supportive ways to get ourselves through tough moments.

The illustrations throughout the story are bold, bright and colourful. They grab your attention and encourage the reader to look closer at the shadows behind the main character to see what's really happening. The mixed font throughout the book is clear, easy to read and has a logical sequence that is easy to follow.

I used this book in the classroom and my students enjoyed listening to the story. They were able to relate well to the story and we had some great conversations around feelings. This is great book to read out loud and to support teaching the zones of regulation. I enjoyed reading about the author and illustrator at the back of the book.
