Opening sentence
If you turn left at the end of your street and walk for the time it takes to count to 99, you will find a place called ‘Nowhere in Particular’
Ian Chapman's Left to Nowhere is a beautifully illustrated book with some stunning images ready to facilitate lots of discussion. These illustrations would be marvellous inspiration for silhouette and colour combo art as well, particularly in the classroom.

I would recommend a lot of discussion if reading this book with students, as it could be quite hard for some to grasp the intended meaning on their own. It is a little disjointed in places but the message of the story prevails: of not loving something to excess, as well as protecting what we have in case we lose it.

Left to Nowhere is a thought-provoking picture book for older children that carefully highlights the dangers of not being irresponsible with our environment or our animals.
