Simon was invited to sleep over at Ferdinand's house
This is the latest title in a series about Simon, also known as Poo Bum. In this story Simon gets a sore tooth and needs to take his first trip to the dentist.
Stephanie Blake uses humor to write about many of the issues that children face and the fear of going to the dentist is her latest topic. The use of direct speech to tell much of the story enables the audience to put themselves into Simon's shoes and makes this perfect for reading aloud.
Fans of Simon and his adventures will enjoy the next in the series.
