This book is perfect for kids between 8 – 14 years old with loads of fascinating, fun facts about flora and fauna that caught my eye! These are facts young readers will love to not just read but keen nature buffs will be reciting them back to you as they are presented in such an easy-to-read way.

A few that caught my eye were: Native Bush Cockroach - ( I HATE cockroaches!) can survive a couple of weeks without water and several months without food, Giant Weta - the largest recorded weighed 71gms (about the weight of a pair of sparrows) and one that is particularly pertinent to us all: A single mature tree can produce a year's supply of oxygen for 10 people.
