Opening sentence
A shaving dad, a laughter dad, a happy ever after dad.
How many dads can you fit in a book? The answer is too many for me to count in 'Dadapalooza'! There are dads who are handy, sad, loyal, chill and covered in tattoos and this is just scratching the surface of the types of dads. Every page is filled with all sorts of dads doing 'dad' things. Am I saying dad a lot? It is not surprising as dads are sole focus of this fun book and I love it!

The illustrations by Ant Sang are fun and bursting with expression. You can almost feel the wind in the hair of the dad and son on the top of the bus taking a selfie, you can see the excitement and movement of finding a picnic spot, or the panic of the dad rushing to the toilet! The bright colours and loads of little details will have readers picking up on new details each time they read it.

A fun book with rhyming language, celebrating dads and their relationships with their children, showing a diverse range of dads and I feel that almost everyone would be able to see a dad like theirs within the pages.
