Opening sentence
Walk into morning, the open air. Wake to the wonder you find there.
This book takes the reader on a journey through different environments: from the bush, to the fields, across oceans, up mountains, in the jungle and into the city. The author encourages the reader to take note of where they are and reflect on the impact humans have on the environment and the footprints we leave behind.
This hardcover book would be a great start to a unit about the environment, showing different habits and animals. The illustrations match the text perfectly and are great to look at. This would make a great addition to a school library as well.
